COMMENT: by Barbara Parsons Leach. Death: Sarah G. Robinson, 1879,
age 44, leaving eight children, 18 yrs. of age and under, the oldest
of these was Mary Susan, 18, who then carried on the responsibility of
being a mother. These included, Lew, 16; Alonzo, 12; James, 10;
Charlotte, 9; Chester, 6; Charles, 3; and Harriet, 1 yr. (By this
time, Wilber was 24; Harry, 23*; Emma, 21; and Edgar, 20 and probably
out on their own. (It is possible Harry died young. He is not
mentioned in his father's will in 1883.)According to notes of Elsie McKee Wnzel, Sarah Fletcher was born 1/16/1834.
