Wilbur F. Robinson, son of Sarah G. Pletcher and Sydnor Robinson. He lived in Morgan Co., York Twp., until about age 10. When he was much older, he traveled from family to family, collecting information and recorded it in 1922. (notes of Barbara Parsons Leach)Came to Des Moines, Iowa on March 16, 1876 and found would not begin until one week later. Entered Old Des Moines University. Located between 16th and 17th and Woodland and Pleasant. He was there until 1879. Was a member of First Baptist Church from that time until 1898.
