Mariam was born on a farm near West Bend, Powell Co., KY, moving to Stanton,
KY about 1940. At the time of her marriage to Tallmadge, he was a farmer and
trucker. She worked as secretary to a law firm. She is now secretary for the
school district in Stanton. She is also attending college in Lexington. Goes
in the daytime and works in the evenings. She is responsible for the copies
of the old school records compiled by your Great Grandfather, DeWitt Clinton
Morehead, also an Old Morehead Family Bible and obits of Albert Clinton
