Dr. Queenie Bilbo, editor and author, died of cancer, Sunday night at Roosevelt Hospital. In 1966, Dr. Bilbo retired as social studies editor at the MacMillan Company after 23 years of service. She wrote "The Story of West Africa" and "The Story of Egypt and Sudan" and was co-author of "The Story of Israel". Died on December 3, 1972. Funeral service and interment at Afton, IA. Note: Executor was: Marvyl Bea Robinson, her cousin. (notes of Barbara Parsons Leach)
