Settlements in Ohio to 1868 by Walker..p. 522--William Bagley was a trustee of Trimble Twp. in 1827. p. 520--William Bagley's house was used for the first election.
resided Orange, Grafton Co., to 1806.
After building log cabins in the woods, William and his father Simeon, platted the town of West Liberty, Muscatine Co., IA which is now a thriving community.

Walker's History of Athen's Co., OH, Trimble Twp..William Bagley's mill on the west fork of Sunday Creek was, as before stated, the first in the township.

This brother of Simeon Arvin Bagley laid out the town of West Liberty, IA as
in History of Muscatine Co. Mary Ann's marr. was the first in this town.
