(March 1853) Fri. 11th "This has been a real snowy day if it had not melted a good deal it would have been deep as it is. I should think it was about six inches did not have much to do about the house have worked all day on a muslin cap that Phebe Smith gave me when I was in Chicago finished the strings and crown."
