Villages named Petznick in
Germany and Poland |
| In both Germany and Poland, there are
two small villages named Petznick. Before
World War II, some parts of Poland belonged to
the "Deutsches Reich". The village
in Poland has changed it's name into
"Piecnik". It is in near Bromberg
where my great-grandmother Anna Waltersdorf Petznick
came from. The name of Bromberg has been
changed to "Bydgoszcz" as
well. It is probable that our Petznick
ancestry comes from one of these two areas. |
 Left
is a map of Germany. Petznick is easily located in
the center of the map. Right is another
German map. Petznick is located NW of
Duetsch-Krone in small print. |
